LEARN AND PRACTICE COLOURS VOCABULARY

Concious English learning.

Your children know that they are doing activities to learn English. It is fantastic as they can see the  importance of learning and recognize their own progress.

One problem: dificultness maintaining motivation.

COMMON EXPRESSIONS

I know that it is difficult to force ourselves to speak English at home, specially if we are Spanish speakers.

Using simple everyday expressions can be a useful way to practice English.

We live running, we love relaxing, but we can't. We would love to have our nails done, but we normally bite them, etc., etc.

Could you spend time teaching your children English? Honestly, I'm not able to find time at all.

The only solution I found was this: obligue all of us to use some common expressions in English, even though the rest of the conversation was in Spanish.

Concerning complaints and siblings fights my rule at home was: I only listen to you if you say it in English (what mean mother!).
